RGB Spectrum
The RGB/View video windowing system display real time video on a high-resolution computer monitor. The video is displayed in a window that canbe positioned, scaled and overlaid with computer graphics. The RGB/Viewaccepts NTSC (or PAL) composite, S-Video and component RGB signals from acamera, tape recorder, television broadcast, or other video source. Atelevision tuner and stereo audio control capability are available asoptional features. Models 1050 and 2050 are stand-alone peripheralscontrolled over an RS-232 port. Model 2050 includes a push button controlpanel. The RGB/View connects between the host computer and its monitorover RGB lines, and imposes no burden on the host CPU, frame buffer, orbus. Real time video performance is guaranteed under all circumstances.The system provides complete software control to manipulate the videowindow, adjust video parameters, control graphics overlays, selecttelevision channels, adjust volume and store video images for furtherprocessing. The RGB/View can be fully integrated under a host computer'swindowing environment, including X Windows.
